THE FRIDAY STORY:
We wanted to avoid the weekend crowd and planned to visit Dandiganahalli Dam on a Wednesday. We were all set for it but did not wake up on time on Wednesday. So, the plan was postponed to Friday.
Neha woke up, got ready at 4 AM and asked me if we must go on a week day sighting threats of being alone in an isolated place and no idea about how the place would be.
I did not want to disturb my sleep and agreed.
The plan was cancelled again. But we were feeling bad since we were not able to bring any new content to you and also, we were missing what we love – TRAVEL
I was about to leave for work and I don’t know what led me to say Neha “Let’s go now!”
That is it. We were on our way to Dandiganahalli at 1 PM
With multiple drone stops in between, we reached the dam around 4 PM and were there till sun set. The place is beautiful, calm and not very dirty in comparison to other such places.
Neha had made sandwiches which we carried along. The return route was through an unknown road and a dense jungle. It was an amazing experience and we made it safely home at around 9 PM.
