This video was taken May 30th 2022. I purchased a new home a few months prior, and found out that it had mold, after moving in and getting sick. Mold remedies were going to cost me $6,000 minimum and could get up to $10,000, so I learned how to do it on my own, and one of the most important parts were buying an air scrubber with a hepa filter.
Fast forward to spring / may, I am getting sick again. My office did not have any mold so I did not use the air scrubber in my office. I decided that I wanted to test the air of my office, and found out that it was not very good. So I brought my air scrubber up there, let it run for just 4 hours, and got amazing results!
The air quality went from 97 (not very good air quality) down to just 8 (great air quality)! This was equivalent to the outdoor air quality as well! Obviously it is much better for your health to have good air quality, since our bodies need fresh oxygen to survive.
The Pm1.0 went from 25 down to just 1. PM1.0 are tiny air particles that are so small, that when they are inhaled into your lungs, they are absorbed into your blood stream and sent to your organs. It is important to remove these particles from the air.
The PM10 went from 039 to just 002. PM10 particles are small and act like a gas and penetrate deep into the lungs. They can cause lots of adverse health effects which we will discuss next.
Why is it important to have good air quality?
According to the Marlborough District Council of New Zealand, high concentrations of PM10 can result in a number of health impacts ranging from coughing and wheezing to asthma attacks and bronchitis to high blood pressure, heart attack, strokes and premature death. The World Health Organization Estimates that 3.8 million people die each year from health issues caused by indoor air pollution.

**UPDATE**
It is October 5th. I tested the air quality again. The AQI is still 008, PM2.5 is still 002, PM1.0 is 001. and the PM10 is still 002! I am excited to see that almost 5 months later, my air quality is still great!
