It’s been almost five years since the flames of the Camp Fire forever changed the landscape of the foothills in Butte County. California's deadliest and most destructive wildfire took the lives of 85 people, decimated the town of Paradise and destroyed more than 22,000 homes, businesses and other structures. State and local leaders gathered at the state Capitol on Thursday to discuss the recovery effort that continues and may continue for decades.
