Here is the second part of my visit to London Heathrow and luck was in my favour as I managed to see and film a Singapore Airlines Airbus A380 in the flesh. All planes as seen in this video take off from Runway 27L and in this part of the video we film some other interesting Airliners at the Airport. To start this video off, we film a British Airways Bioeing 747-400RR (Rolls Royce Engines) making its way along the taxiway its way onto runway 27L and is filmed taking off from the runway as you will see it emerge from the ground. Then we see a Malaysia Airlines Boeing 747-400 bound for Kuala Lumpar (The Capital of Malaysia) also joining the same runway from the taxiway. Afterwards we spot the Singapore Airlines Airbus A380 just behind the United Airlines Boeing 767 on the taxiway preparing for its entry slot on the runway. However a Qantas Boeing 747-400 joins in from Terminal 5 on the left and it is been given the right of way by ATC (Air Traffic Control) to join the runway and take off. Now going back to the Singapore Airlines Airbus A380, it is now been granted clearence to join runway 27L and it is filmed here taking off for Singapore which is about a 8-10 hour flight. Apologies for the dodgey zoom in some parts as I think this camera has a mind of its own! Though the good news will be that I will be getting an updated HD video camera in 2010.
