The Nest-O-Matic galvanized metal roll away nest box is a great addition to your coop. It is easy to assemble and install.

A roll away nest box is great for keeping eggs cleaner, preventing broodiness in hens, and preventing egg eating. After the hen lays her egg, it immediately rolls to the front compartment. This prevents her access to the egg and allows easy access for egg collecting (not to mention avoiding those nasty pecks on the hand when trying to reach under her) :)

It comes with a brown rubber nest pad, which can be removed and washed. You are also able to use flat fiber nest pads, such as the My Favorite Chicken hemp pads. Avoid using fluffy nesting material because it can prevent the roll away feature from working properly.

The nest box also mounts to the wall and can be removed for total cleaning.
