I need to point out that this type of construction works better on smaller buildings, larger ones might require ridge beams and I would strongly suggest watching a couple of the other videos suggestions that can be found in the video.
This might not be the only way, but seems to be a standard construction practice used by engineers, architects and contractors, looking for a way to turn a flat ceiling into a vaulted ceiling on engineered roofing systems. Even though the video will provide you with some information, I strongly advise contacting a structural engineer for more information and a detailed drawing on how you can actually turn a standard flat ceiling into a vaulted one. Without an engineer, the strength and structural integrity of the building can be severely weakened.
