If the shower screen is not maintained, it can begin to block with excess coffee grind and oils, essentially changing the overall quality and taste of your espresso shot. To clean the shower screen of your Barista Touch™, periodically run hot water through an attached group head with no coffee grind inside. Repeating this cycle regularly will ensure all excess coffee residue left in the shower screen is removed.
