This lady never even looked for traffic before she stepped off the curb. This type of thing is Typical in downtown Vancouver sad and preventable accidents.
When the person with the purple umbrella reaches the other end of the intersection and the ticking starts the traffic light is already yellow. The lady walks into the crosswalk after that and does not look up to even look for traffic. When the Booing starts the light is red. This lady then keeps walking out into traffic and resumes texting....there is another lane of traffic also on the right just out of view.

There is no jay walking enforcement of pedestrians in downtown Vancouver. Another bad street is Commercial Drive....There are so many jay-walking pedestrians, the pedestrians are hitting other pedestrians who are jay -walking the other way.....sick yo...
