Flooding struck areas in the United Arab Emirates as the country was hit by heavy rains.

Some people who became trapped in their homes in the cities of Sharjah and Fujairah were rescued by the members of the civil defense.

Fujairah was badly affected due to its mountainous nature and its valleys.

Sharjah was also badly affected while Dubai and Abu Dhabi saw less rain.
