Nicola Tesla was interested in bifilar wound Tesla coils. When I was in grad school, we had a mega-volt Marx generator, and it was triggered by a spiral line generator, or vector inversion generator... This was a crazy device that was a cross between a capacitor and a transformer! It used the transmission line effect to generate high voltage! I used the same idea in this crazy device, which I am calling a spiral line transformer.. I will talk a little about the theory of how this device operates.. then I will demonstrate it in action.. I used audio speaker type wire, to make the transmission line for this device!
