হাতিরঝিল is a lakefront front project located in the heart of Dhaka, Bangladesh. The project has been also a transportation channel for shrinking traffic jam in the nearby area. People also call হাতিরঝিল as Hatirjheel Begunbari.

As it is a popular spot of not only near residents but also the whole Dhaka city people from the commencement, people have a dream of watching the Hatirjheel drone view. Therefore, this video footage had been captured by the Mavic Mini drone to show the full view of Hatirjheel in 4K. The Birdseye view of Hatirjheel Dhaka Bangladesh would impress you.
Bangladesh Army and the Special Works Organization (SWO) did the construction of the project. There is a myth that the elephants of Bhawal Raja used to take baths in this lake and the king kept his tamed elephants at Dhaka Pilkhana. Mainly through the Hatirpool and Elephant Road, the elephants were taken to the lake. That’s maybe the reason why the name of this lake is Hatirjheel. হাতিরঝিল is located at the heart of the Dhaka city. The area is surrounded by Maghbazar Tejgaon, Niketon, Gulshan, Badda, Banasree and Rampura.

This lake project had made the transportation of Dhaka city much easier for the people. The sight is now recognized to be one of the most picturesque places in Dhaka Bangladesh. Due its spectacular view, it has become one of the top recreational places for the city dwellers and the tourists as well. We know most of the places of Dhaka city is packed with lots of buildings and sometimes is really difficult to find fresh air due to heavy air pollution. But the Lake Hatirjheel and the nearby open area is always fresh air and natural beauty represented to attracts the city dwellers. Numerous transports like water boat and Chokrakar Bus services are available here for transportation in the lake area. The drone footage showed all the facts in detail.
However, the night beauty of the lake is superb. At night the place bedizens a new look with various colorful lights, especially in Red, Blue, Green, Yellow and Violet lights. The water show is another exciting night fact of the lake. Every Friday at 9:00 pm the bridges and dancing shower looks like a fairyland and lots of spectators enjoy this beautiful event. We also captured the night view in drone footage as well and added in the last part of the video.
24/7 you would find a lot of pedestrians, foreign and local visitors here. Colorful trees, flowering shrubs and lots of decorative elements are everywhere around the lake. Especially green trees around the lake would surely impress you. The sight is truly a great place for everyone, family, children, friends and couples. In the morning and afternoon, people do jogging regularly here in the fresh air.
Hatirjheel project was inaugurated on 2nd January 2013, by the Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
