This video shows you how to install a new camshaft position sensor from TRQ on your 2006-2011 Honda Civic. For vehicles with electronically controlled timing, a camshaft position sensor relays important information to the computer to ensure the engine is running properly. A bad sensor may relay incorrect or no information, resulting in poor running conditions and trouble codes.
This repair was done on a 2009 Honda Civic LX 1.8L Sedan 4-Door FWD Manual and the process should be similar on the following vehicles:
2006 Honda Civic
2007 Honda Civic
2008 Honda Civic
2009 Honda Civic
2010 Honda Civic
2011 Honda Civic
