With the newest form of cataract surgery recovery is very fast, it takes about half an hour to an hour to recover from the anaesthesia and sedation, patients usually walk out of the operation theatre. Visual recovering start early and by 24 hours patient can see clearly. Most of care requires about 1 week to 10 days and usually by the end of 2 weeks patient is fit and fine. Maximum vision recovery takes up to 2-3 weeks after which we prescribe reading glasses to the patient. The cataract recovery time is lesser and lesser in newer surgeries.
