This is Round 8 of the Round Table Conference, a tournament featuring 16 decks from the 13th main booster of the Digimon Card Game: VS Royal Knights. The final two decks to clash are MirageGaogamon Burst Mode and Belphemon. The Blue MirageGaogamon deck has existed since the early days of the game, but it is only in recent sets that it has received sufficient support for its engine to compete at higher levels of play. It now has access to several sources of forcing the opponent to draw, Memory manipulation and the potential to convert those resources into a series of consecutive attacks that take down foes faster than the eye can see. On the other hand, the Purple Belphemon deck relies on the opposite. Using Purple's signature techniques of drawing plus trashing and deleting their own Digimon for setup, they finish off the opponent with a boss that is practically invulnerable during the opponent's turn and becomes a 1HKO machine during yours if your hand size is small enough. In a sense, it can be said that these two decks counter each other but MirageGaogamon has the upper hand. Who will claim the final ticket to the Round Table Conference Quarterfinals? Let's find out!
