Kipkelion East Member of Parliament Joseph Limo and Kericho Governor Paul Chepkwony clashed at a public function over the delivery of medical equipment purchased by the national government for the counties. While Limo accused his governor of delaying the delivery of medical services to the grass root by refusing to approve the equipment delivered, Chepkwony claimed that proper procedure was not followed in the acquisition of the equipment and he can therefore not sign for items he knows nothing about. Limo however called on his governor to discern between politics and health, saying the latter is critical for the survival and development of the nation.
