On August 6th, Kerry Yonushonis began her Catalina Channel Swim at 10:52 PM. This video is taken shortly after she started the swim and shows you just how dark it was during the swim. About 6-7 hours of the 11.5 hour swim was in complete darkness, using the glow sticks from the boat and kayaks as her guide.
