Casey Ladelle made some great points in a recent video titled "The Truth about Sponsorships." In that video, he mentioned the truth about YouTube Adsense, but the topic that really stood out was that he preferred sponsorships to Patreon. Casey indicated that it was better to get the money he needed for his channel from corporate entities instead of his followers. I have always thought it would be better to receive my funding from the audience so I could hopefully one day move away from sponsored messages disrupting the flow of my videos.
