1. Neck tension release - you don’t need to roll with this one! Simply rest on the wheel and for extra massage, move your head slowly side to side. You can play with placing the wheel closer to the base of your scull, in the middle of your neck, or closer to your traps.
2. Piriformis roll - this small muscle can cause lots of pain, and we can manage that by stopping the tightness before it begins by rolling out. Massage along the outer glute, and the surrounding areas to relax the muscles. Pair it with some hamstring rolls and a back roll using your 10” wheel for a complete care routine 💙
3. Calf roll out - Our calves do a lot for us. Give a minute or so post workout to give them a nice massage. When our calves are chronically tight and we aren’t doing crazy hill sprints or hiking to make that happen, we might need to look at other potential causes for pain.
