Hello :)
This is the requested transcription I've done of the Al Green song "Let's Stay Together" from his 1972 album entitled the same. Leroy Hodges was the bass player on this track.
You can find this transcription at Muzento when you sign up with an Intermediate Lesson Plan.
This is a nice song to play along with. He played it dynamically, rhythmically, and with a nice laid-back, groovy feel. But don't lay back when you're playing it. If anything play right on top of the beat, and pay attention to note length in the descending Am, G F, Em, Dm part. Be sure to play those notes long (that's what I did). For the rest of the verses you can vary it up, but again, play that one section with all long notes.
I hope you enjoy it. Don't forget to "like" and "subscribe" and thanks for watching.
