Hi. This is Ryan with Premier Table Linens and thanks for taking a look at our screen-printed tablecloths and table throws.
Screen printing process is, as I like to call it, “the old fashioned printing process.” We don’t use it quite so much, for a one to eleven piece run. We would use our dye sublimation printing for those.
If we’re getting into an order quantity of 12 or more pieces then it does get more cost effective for you, as a customer, to purchase screen printing. Now, there are limitations for screen printing. We can print a one or a two color process on the screen printing. The reason we have a limitation of twelve or more pieces is because for screen printing we have to actually set up the graphic on a silk screen, burn that screen, and then physically print with that screen, which is where we flood the ink onto the screen, press the screen down onto the fabric and squeegee your print directly onto the actual fabric. We then have to put the fabric into drying ramps, give it time to dry. It’s a little bit more of a labor-intensive process which is why we actually request that this is a twelve or more piece order for all screen-printed products.
If you have any questions about multiple runs which are in excess of, you know 100/150, best thing is to give me a call and we can custom make a quote for you on those particular products.
