BYD's new luxury brand Yangwang has unveiled a new sedan with over 1,000 horsepower of performance. This sedan will rival performance versions such as the BMW i5 M and Mercedes-Benz EQE AMG.
The new sedan, which is scheduled to go on sale in China in the second half of 2024, is based on BYD's e4 platform. This platform also underpins BYD's U8 SUV and U9 supercar.
The U7 takes inspiration from its big brother, the U9, in terms of design. This sedan, bearing the signature of Wolfgang Egger, the former design chief of Audi, stands out with its striking C-shaped headlights, muscular body lines, and eye-catching rear lights.
However, the U7 is not just about good looks. Its performance is also impressive. It accelerates like a rocket with its 1,000 horsepower. BYD's e4 platform also provides sharp handling and lightning-fast acceleration.
