Ingredients:
1) Parboiled Rice (Ukade tandul)- 1/2 cup
2) Chana Dal- 1/2 cup
3) Turmeric leaf- 1 medium size
4) Salt- 1/4 tsp
5) Fresh scrapped coconut- 1/2 cup or 1 cup
thick coconut milk
6) Jaggery- 3/4 cup or 1 cup (as per taste)
(I have used 1/2 cup palm jaggery (1 pyramid) +
1/4 cup sugarcane jaggery)
7)Water- 1/2 cup +2 tbsp to grind scrapped
coconut & clear paste +
2.5 cups to cook rice & Chana dal.
