Biggest fear in life isn’t death. The biggest fear is rejection.

Whenever I share this quote in class, the students agree. They are more afraid of being rejected than they are of dying.

This fear causes them to make decisions that are detrimental to their futures just so they can be accepted by peers that they won’t even be friends with ten years from now.
