I'm officially out of Marveri and looking for new adventures. Why? Find out in this video.
▬ I am leaving as CEO of Marveri ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬
Not a light decision, but I’m proud of how far I’ve taken the company. Last year, I raised a small pre-seed round to get us started. Several months later I raised Marveri’s seed round from Alven Capital, Bessemer Venture Partners, and other great VCs and angel investors, bringing our total funding to just over $3M.
▬ Why this step now? ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬
I realized that my passion lies more with building cool startups and tech, than with the specifics of the legal sector. With Marveri being self-sufficient, I’m transitioning to an advisory role and looking for my next (even bigger) challenge. Is there more to this? That's a story for another time!
I’m grateful for my amazing investors and their strong support. Especially for standing behind me in this transition.
▬ What comes next? ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬
The short answer is: I’m not sure yet! And in some way, that’s the fun part and a first for me. Have you ever heard the joke that at any given moment in life you only get to choose two out of {time, money, energy}? In other words, you’re always either too poor, too busy, or too old to take full advantage of life. For the first and possibly only time in my life, I’m lucky enough to have all 3 in good supply.
We’re in the middle of a technological revolution. The only other time when opportunities for entrepreneurs were at a similar level as they are right now was with the start of the internet in the late 90-ties. This is an opportunity that comes once in several decades, and it feels like the possibilities are endless.
I’m excited for what’s next! Given the businesses I have up and running, I could take life easier for some time. However, I know I’d go crazy if I didn’t work on anything for more than a few months.

Some exciting paths I am considering (in no particular order):
- Starting a new Gen AI startup, if I find the right idea and team
- Joining an existing cutting-edge AI company
- Joining a VC to invest into tech companies
What I know for sure is that I’ll take the coming months to:
- Travel and see places after 15 years of basically working non-stop
- Meet and talk to many inspiring people
