The 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit conducts eight combat exercises during September and October 2012 as part of its overall training program in preparation for the Marines and Sailors deployment in 2013.
The exercises involved are:

2. Amphibious Assault Vehicle (AAV) Egress
3. Javelin-TOW Live Fire
4. Mass Casualty Drill
5. Urban Breaching
6. Military Operations On Urban Terrain (MOUT)
7. Motorized Raid
8. Tactical Recovery of Aircraft and Personnel (TRAP)
