Nigerians have today voted for a new president after a week-long postponement that has raised political tempers, sparked conspiracy claims and stoked fears of violence. More than 84 million voters registered to take part in the elections. About 120,000 polling stations opened early across Africa's most populous nation with results expected early next week.
