I set my design skills and 3d printer to work to recreate a discontinued surfboard fin. The process used matched 3d printed tools to accurately mold the fin shape in solid fibreglass and epoxy composite and I'm interested in sharing the method here on YouTube. I guess it is a variation on #forgedcarbon but using fabric instead of chopped carbon.
I want to create a longer video on this but I'm not sure where to focus:
1. Design of the fin shape and molds
2. Manufacturing and molding
3. Review of the complete project with what I would do differently...
