Just a day after the University Academic Staff Union called off the 78 days dons strike, their counterpart the Kenya University Staff Union headed by Charles Mukhwaya appears to be reading from a different script. Mukhwaya says KUSU is yet to reach an agreement with the government maintaining that the strike is still on. Meanwhile, President Uhuru Kenyatta has today directed the Ministry of Education and the Teachers Service Commission to develop a reward scheme for teachers whose schools perform well in the national examinations.
