[ Ссылка ] In this video Master Craftsman Beekeeper, Bo Sterk, demonstrates how to create your own punch cell used for queen rearing. Here is how it is done;
Solder a 3/8" compression fitting from plumbing to a nail and place on a dowel rod or pencil. Warm the fitting with a lighter or torch and punch through the cell containing the one day old larvae. When you pull the punch out, you will have wax and the larvae needed to place in to the new hive where the honey bees can draw out a queen cell.
No need to mess with a grafting tool for this technique!
