January 26 2020, A Sikorsky S-76 Helicopter crashed in Los Angeles, taking the lives of Kobe Bryant, his daughter Gigi and all other passengers and solo Pilot on board. This was a terrible day for all sport fans and the aviation community around the world.
In the last 48 hours, there have been several reports on what occurred during that flight. We also now have some actual Air traffic audio of comms between the helicopter pilot and Burbank tower. In this video my goal was to give my assessment of the flight plan and hopefully educate non-pilots of what occurred during that flight from listening to the ATC audio.
