COVINGTON, Ky. (WKRC) - Two students suffered minor injuries Monday afternoon, February 27, when part of the ceiling gave way at a local school.
The incident took place at Saint Augustine School in Covington around 2 p.m. A section of ceiling plaster broke free.
The two students received minor injuries and were treated onsite by paramedics. Both were released into the care of their parents.
Saint Augustine will be closed Tuesday, February 28. Professional building contractors will survey the damage and ensure no other issues were evident in the building.
The school will reopen Wednesday, March 1.
