What’s the movie Pitch Black about?
A spaceship carrying about 40 civilians is hit by a meteorite and crashes on an unknown planet. The crew perishes in the crash, except for Fry (Radha Mitchell of High Art), a young pilot, and a few survivors. Among them are an imam and his followers, an antique dealer, a geologist, a teenage girl, Johns' hunter (Cole Hauser of Higher Learning) and Riddick (Vin Diesel of The Fast and the Furious), a hardened criminal being transferred to prison. As the small group tries to organize themselves in an arid climate of perpetual daylight dominated by three suns, they discover that an eclipse will soon strike the planet, allowing monstrous nocturnal creatures to come hunting...
