In this video I explain just one way to target both flounder / fluke when fishing the backcountry in a kayak When I refer to backcountry I'm speaking about back bay fluke fishing the creeks and small narrow channels winding through sodbanks (also called mudbanks). I outline 3 different spots all located within the same vicinity and have a very successful day.
The location is in South New Jersey, but as always it's not the exact location that matters, its understanding the structure and how fish react to it. Yes, this video shows new jersey kayak fishing but the principles apply to other areas. If I can show how to catch fluke in this location you can replicate the same area and conditions in others.
