Located in the Rabdan area next to Khor Al Maqta’a, the Marina can take vessels up to an 80-meter length. The complex is an excellent location for enjoying waterside activities, a variety of gourmet options, and a heartfelt cruise with luxury facilities. It is spread out over several zones and has gorgeous pathways.

The brand-new and very breathtaking National Aquarium is certainly a must-see destination. The aquarium covers an area of 5000 square meters and is home to a multitude of different marine species. The National Aquarium in Al Qana is the biggest aquarium you can find in the Middle East and has approximately 46,000 creatures from more than 300 different species. The aquarium is absolutely teeming with aquatic biodiversity.

When you enter the building, sunshine floods in through the floor-to-ceiling windows at the entrance, creating an atmosphere that is bright and airy and open. As guests go around the aquarium, the lighting is adjusted to slightly dim which is less harsh for the creatures, and unique interactive exhibits are mounted on the walls of the different exhibition halls.

The facility is divided into ten themed zones, each with a maritime-oriented motif. Every sector has its own unique aesthetic. The 10 zones in total are UAE’s Natural Treasures, Red Sea Wreck, Atlantic Cave, The Sub, Ring of Fire, Ocean Magic, Frozen Ocean, Flooded Forest, Bu Tinah Island and Back of House. All these zones are set up to tell a narrative of its own.
