Superintendent Joolaie: Did you know you can save time by submitting your customs and immigration declaration in advance at many of Canada’s international airports? Using Advance Declaration can greatly reduce your wait time at the kiosk!
Download the ArriveCAN app and create a travel profile if you don’t already have one. Next, confirm your travel document information, answer the customs, immigration, and agriculture questions; and submit your declaration within 72 hours of arrival into Canada.
When your flight lands, use Advance Declaration express lanes at the airport. Then, review, submit and print your declaration at a kiosk before proceeding to a Border Services Officer with your printed receipt for processing.
