The Government has published its plans for workers’ rights, describing them as the biggest upgrade in employment rights for a generation.
Measures include plans to ban exploitative zero-hours contracts and “unscrupulous” fire and rehire practices.
Talk’s Isabel Oakeshott thinks the measures “won’t boost the economy” and will make employers “more cautious” about hiring.
