Marcos and Miguel Eguren fell in love with the Toro landscape more than 15 years ago, seduced by its pre-phylloxera vines, deep roots vineyards meticulously chosen to translate the minerality of the soils in powerful and elegant reds. And their love for Toro remains unchanged. A reflection of their commitment to this land is the Teso La Monja winery, with which they wanted to take a step further in this second stage of their presence in the DO Toro after selling their initial Numanthia-Termes project, taking Toro wines to new heights.

Founded in 2007, Teso La Monja produces five wines - Romanico, Almirez, Victorino, Alabaster and Teso La Monja - which transmit the power of Tinta de Toro with elegance, subtlety and freshness, attributes shared with all the wines of the project of the Eguren family.
