Taking in the views and highlights of the rollout and the ascent from Beaufort, and the full descent down to Bourg-Saint-Maurice. We wrap up with a trip through a freezer!

This was a perfect day to ride the Cormet de Roselend - the weather was just right, the quiche was tasty, and it was a popular destination for many.

The ascent from Beaufort would be just over the 20km mark, with an average gradient of 6.1%, peaking at 14.2% at the steepest point. And the views around the Lac de Roselend - wow! Well worth the effort!
