GOES-16's Solar Ultraviolet Imager (SUVI) instrument captured stunning solar flare activity between July 13, 2017 and July 14, 2017.
The SUVI instrument captures solar imagery in six ultraviolet wavelengths: 94, 131, 171, 195, 284, and 304 angstrom. This video shows imagery from three of these wavelengths compiled together into animated views of the solar activity.
