Everyone knows that the Duggar family does not allow their children to "date" in the traditional sense of the word. "Courtship" is established by strict rules organized by Duggar patriarch Jim Bob.

When older singles like Jana do not go the courting route, they remain unmarried. So is there a lower age limit for courtship in the Duggar family? The answer may come as a surprise.

Most of the Duggars' dating rules are widely known. For example, none of the now-married children of the Duggars kissed their spouses before marriage, and in most cases, they didn't even hug before doing so.
It was most likely a side hug if they did hug; full-length hugs were not allowed.
