We at Bimba are proud to introduce the Collaborative Robot Vacuum Tool, an end-of-arm vacuum tool that provides simplicity without sacrificing flexibility or customization.

Installation onto your collaborative robot is easy. After that, you simply supply compressed air and a signal to control the valve and you’re up and running.

The CRVT features an integrated valve, pump, and muffler which takes the headache out of vacuum applications. It’s all inside! The valve and pump are controlled by your robot’s user interface and the muffler ensures quiet but efficient operation. The integrated vacuum pump is located at the point of use, meaning shorter cycle times for you.

Also integrated into the tool is a presence detection switch that tells your robot when an item or part is actively engaged to or picked by the vacuum.

The standard configurations are available for AUBO Robotics, Productive Robotics, Rethink Robotics and Universal Robots, but the simple design can be easily adapted to any robot manufacturer. A single I/O electrical connection detangles your application and offers you a true plug-and-play experience on your robot.

The CRVT has (1) 1/4” NPT female vacuum port and (4) 1/8” NPT female vacuum ports, which gives you nearly endless cup and fitting options.

This out-of-the-box tool performs beautifully in a number of applications including pick & place, assembly, packaging, lab analysis and testing and many more material handling scenarios.
