On this episode of MotoringBox we're fixing a common issues which a lot of Ford Falcons and Territory's seem to suffer from - brake shudder! The issue is caused by warped brake rotors... but how or why does this happen? A common misconception is that the brake rotors themselves are under-sized, and unable to cope with the heavy weight of car(s). But in my experience a lesser known cause is the brake booster/master cylinder either falling out of adjustment, or needing to be adjusted as the car ages. In this video I'll show you how to fix that, and we throw a new set of rotors and pads on get rid of the shake. If this solution doesn't fix your problem, chances are your front rotors need to be rebuilt or replaced. #motoringbox
