About this lesson:

In this under 5-minute guitar lesson, you'll learn how to play a basic E7 chord, how it relates to the E major chord, + how dominant 7th chords (seventh chords) are built. I explain these concepts with animations, chord diagrams, and demonstrations on the guitar. The same concepts apply to both acoustic and electric guitars. The E7 is a 'fairly' easy chord, so I think this will be fun to learn :-)

I hope this guitar tutorial (with a hint of music theory) will inspire you on your guitar journey!

Why the 'starry' animations? :-)
Learning the guitar can be very challenging at first, but since most people are visual learners, I believe it can be helpful to visualize chord shapes on the guitar neck in a creative way! There is a similarity between zodiac signs and chord & scale shapes on the guitar by the way: both have a fixed form, but they can move around. When you can remember and visualize one shape, it will help your future learning process. Also, I like making animations and thought it might be a fun challenge to create this (it certainly was).
