Building large scale application is more difficult than many people understand or expect. Join me in this long running series where I set out to duplicate one of the most popular social media platforms ever creating using Java, Spring Boot, Spring Security, PostgreSQL data, React JS web application framework and more.

In todays episode we start working with creating posts. Starting out setting up the proper interfaces to model the posts on the frontend, then we setup our post slice to be able to initialize our post when a user activates the form, as well as updating the post when a user is typing into the form. Finally, we setup the async thunk for sending the post to the backend and the submit post function which dispatched the action and resets the form to its default state.
