As the saying goes, if you've got it, flaunt it, and Arab Royals do not hesitate to flaunt their billions, that's for sure. As a result, kings and princes all across the Arab world own lavish homes, private jets, expensive cars and stuff that you and I could only dream of. So in this video, I look at a few notable Arab royals and their extravagant billionaire lifestyles.
Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. Let's start by talking about the ruler of Dubai Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, colloquially known as Sheikh Rashid. Sheikh Rashid is no stranger to obscene wealth. He is considered the world's most prominent real estate developer as most of his wealth is generated from real estate development projects after Dubai became the investment hub of the Middle East. In fact, his Dubai Palace is so big that it has its own postcode. It is claimed that he owns assets worth a staggering $15 billion and his family is believed to be the fourth richest among the Middle East Royals. Unsurprisingly, Sheikh Rashid owns several lavish homes worldwide, including in countries like England, Ireland, Rome and Luxembourg. You'd be surprised to know that according to an investigation by the Guardian newspaper, it was found that Sheikh Rashid is one of the largest landowners in the UK owning more than 100,000 acres. Now that's how you stamp your authority on foreign soil. Aside from his homes, Sheikh Rashid is an avid collector of luxury cars he owns multiple Bentley's Lamborghinis, Rolls Royce's and even an Aston Martin DB nine. He also owns a yacht that is worth over $150 million. The yacht has an indoor pool, a movie theatre and a helicopter landing pad. It was the world's third largest yacht till 2050 until another royal which we'll look at later in this video and tipped him off the post as if all this was not enough. Sheikh Rashid is also an avid equestrian he owns and operates go dolphin racing, known worldwide for breeding multimillion dollar thoroughbred racehorses.
