LVProSim is a software program that offers a generic process simulator mode. Simplified simulations can be created to introduce basic process control concepts. Simulations can be configured as first- or second-order process, with or without dead time. The process and disturbance have variable gains. This video shows how to create a simple first-order process model to use as an exercise for students.
