Hi everyone. I am an illustrator who has worked for things like Magic the Gathering, White Wolf Games, Marvel comics and more. I try to video as many of my paintings as possible, as teaching tools, and just for good old fun. This video is a painting on the cover of my artist portraits sketchbook (a sketchbook filled with paintings of fellow artists).

For this, I covered the old cover painting with acrylic, then gesso, then the drawing, the painted with watercolor, sprayfixed, and lastly, varnished.

I just did not like the old piece I had on the cover...well, I liked it (it was a caricature), but I decided I wanted something more readable from a distance, with a bigger title (added after this video), and a little more serious.
