Security has been beefed up outside Jamia Milia University ahead of the screening of a BBC documentary about the Gujarat riots in 2002. So far, five students have been detained. After a fight broke out at Jawaharlal Nehru University over the screening of the documentary, the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) was called in. The Congress's youth wing issued a poster in this regard, and the college administration took note of the situation and issued a notice with orders, any violation of which would result in action. Members of the Students' Federation of India, including Unit Secretary Nivedya, South Delhi Area Vice President Abhiram, and Tejas, have been detained, according to the organization.
