Walk around this Arrow XT 107’ Ascendant Heavy-Duty Tiller Aerial Ladder from Fountain Valley Fire Department with Captain Brent Waterworth. This department chose 72” high visibility lights on the front of their chassis to diverge crowds and intersections when passing through during an emergency. They house directional lights and reflective decals on the inside of the driver’s door to create more approachable signs when the truck is stopped in oncoming traffic. The Will-Burt night scanning light tower sits on top of this chassis and can move in any direction. Their Akron water tower mobile monitor is stored in the driver’s side compartments for easy use for the tower that sits on the tip of the ladder. The tiller also serves as an ALS Paramedic unit. A magnetic pull-off charger has been placed in the back of the passenger’s side compartment for easy removal.
