Hundreds of Twitter employees have resigned following an ultimatum from new owner Elon Musk, who sent an email to workers asking them to either commit to working "long hours at high intensity" or take a severance package.

Twitter’s collapse has been hard and fast following Musk’s $44 billion acquisition of the company.
